422780_524115721421_271991139_nI have been teaching music for almost as long as I have been playing music. The mentorship of younger musicians is one of the most important aspects of our musical tradition. I enjoy helping students grow in the mastery of their instruments. Fundamental technique is essential in my teaching with every student, but there is unique artistry and vision with every dedicated student which shapes the direction of our studies. My instrumental teaching specialties include piano, French horn, trumpet, trombone, and guitar. Composition and Ear Training may be a part of a students’ studies on any instrument, but dedicated lessons on the subject(s) are possible as well.
